Anna and John’s incredible Old City wedding was a family affair that touched our Elegant Events team’s hearts. Family is everything to this fantastic couple who blended Jewish and Christian traditions into their touching wedding ceremony.

They also included family members throughout the wedding weekend that included a Friday night welcome dinner, the Saturday wedding, and a post-wedding brunch on Sunday morning.

It’s All About Family

Anna and John’s wedding was initially scheduled for December 2020 and was rescheduled due to Covid restrictions.

In March of 2021, John officiated at his twin sister Claire’s marriage to Ritam, which our Elegant Events team also planned.

Claire was John’s Woman of Honor. And Anna and John’s wedding was officiated by her brother!

First Look

After a morning spent with their wedding parties, Anna and John each headed into Old City for their first look. The Merchant’s Exchange was the backdrop for the couple to see each other for the first time.

I Am My Beloved’s

After their incredible photo session, the couple returned to their hotel for family photos before their ketubah signing.

Shortly after sunset, Anna, escorted by her father, made her way down the aisle covered with rose petals.

In a beautifully touching ceremony under a white birch chuppah, the couple exchanged their vows. The chuppah was draped in lush greenery and accented with soft white and cream florals.

Dinner and Dancing

Following the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, guests made their way into the ballroom. The room was accented with warm lighting. Reception tables were dressed with luxurious linens and an eclectic mix of floral arrangements with winter greens and flowers in rich red and burgundy tones.

The newlyweds made their entrance and took to the dancefloor for their first dance to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Kina Grannis before being swept up in an energetic hora.

The evening continued with a welcome and blessings by family members, a delicious dinner, and plenty of dancing. The couple took a short break from the dancefloor to cut their spectacular four-tiered wedding cake.
