Our Philadelphia wedding planners adored working with Stephane and Corey on their spectacular Please Touch Museum wedding. The team they assembled was absolutely incredible. We are over the moon about sharing the beautiful details.
Their mornings began like most other weddings—the couple spending time with their wedding party. The ladies enjoyed time together, pampering themselves with hair and makeup services, while the guys hung out.
Corey and the guys spent their morning taking some photos around the city and having some fun. But we’ll save that for a future blog post as it’s too awesome not to share!
Get Me To The Church On Time
Stephane looked like a princess as she and her father made their way to the church. Her wedding gown with its illusion lace bodice was incredible, and we loved the soft colors and textures of her bouquet.
The National Shrine of St Rita of Cascia
Their wedding ceremony was held at The National Shrine of St Rita of Cascia. Located on Broad Street, a little south of Washington Avenue, you may have driven by and not paid much attention. The inside of the church is impressive and the perfect setting for this incredible wedding.
Inside the church, Corey looked handsome in his classic white tuxedo with a black shawl collar and accents. He cracked a slight smile as the wedding party began to make its way down the aisle.
Stephane made her way into the church, escorted by her father. As they made their way down the aisle to Canon in D, Corey was overwhelmed with emotion.
The couple exchanged their wedding vows, surrounded by family and friends. The church created an incredible backdrop for their wedding and the family photos that followed.
The Rodin Museum
Following the wedding ceremony and some family photos, the newlyweds and their wedding party made their way across town to the Rodin Museum for some incredible wedding portraits.
Take A Ride On The Carousel
The couple’s wedding guests made their way to Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park and the Please Touch Museum. The Carousel House, with its fully restored 1924 carousel, was the setting for the cocktail hour.
The team created a comfortable space for guests to enjoy delicious food stations, roaming oyster shuckers, and butler passed hors d’oeuvres.
A hedge wall personalized with the newlywed’s name held a custom acrylic seating chart. The couple’s last name was the inspiration for their signature cocktail – A Myer Lemon French 75 – made with Gin, Myer Lemon, Simple Syrup ad Prosecco!
Just The Two Of Us
As their wedding guests made their way into Hamilton Hall, Stephane and Corey explored the Please Touch Museum and had a little fun. These photographs inside Alice’s Wonderland and driving an iconic SEPTA bus are too much fun!
Hamilton Hall
Inside Hamilton Hall, wedding guests walked into a wonderland of their own. The dramatic lighting of the 60-foot ceilings, the 145-year-old dome, and the four-story tall replica of the Statue of Liberty’s arm and torch drew your eyes up.
However, the reception decor in the room below was jaw-dropping. Tables draped in luxurious linens were ringed with gold chivari chairs, complementing the gold-rimmed charger plates and centerpieces with unique gold vessels and branches. Arrangements overflowed with florals in shades pink and white with textured greenery. Hanging crystals and shimmering floating candles, and custom menu cards completed the look.
And, we have to talk about their incredible Sweetheart Table. A beautiful floral wall sat behind their table, draped with a lush floral garland. Floating candles, gold-toned votives, and pillar candles bathed the couple in soft light.
Mr. & Mrs. Corey & Stephane Meyer
The newlyweds made their grand entrance and took to the oversized white dance floor for their first dance to ‘Just The Two of Us” by Grover Washington and Bill Withers.
The evening continued with touching toasts, parent dances, and spectacular food that included iconic Philadelphia late-night snacks.
Guests danced the night away before enjoying the couple’s four-tiered wedding cake and a yummy dessert table. Desserts included macarons, and individual berry topped treats, and miniature chocolate carousel horses.
This spectacular evening came to a close with a packed dancefloor for one last song, under a shower of confetti!
Congratulations, Stephane and Corey! We wish you a lifetime together as spectacular as your wedding day!
