The Pursuit of Happiness in Old City

Our Elegant Events team was so excited to work with Brittney and Dwayne on their recent Philadelphia wedding in Old City.

Even with all of the current restrictions, we were able to assist them in having a beautiful wedding and include lots of their friends. The outdoor spaces at Liberty View at Independence Visitor Center allowed them to welcome more guests than an indoor venue. And, offering them live streaming service includes friends who were not able to attend.

Elegant Events Micro Weddings

Brittney and Dwayne hired our Elegant Events team to plan their wedding celebration using our Premium Micro-Wedding Collection. This collection encompasses all-inclusive services of venue selection, floral arrangements, photography, and entertainment. Additionally, we guided the couple in securing their wedding officiant and decor rentals.

The Ritz-Carlton-Philadelphia

The couple each got ready at the iconic Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia. They were each able to relax and get ready in a luxurious setting. It also offered a beautiful backdrop for some wedding photos.

The Center City Philadelphia hotel also gave them easy access to some incredible locations for wedding portraits. From some spectacular City Hall photos to the steps of the Union League, their images were breathtaking.

With This Ring

Down in Old City, guests had arrived for the couple’s wedding ceremony on the South Terrace of the Independence Visitor Center.

Escorted by her father, Brittney made her entrance to ‘All of Me’ by Damien Escobar. She looked stunning in her luxurious satin organza wedding gown with its lace bodice and illusion lace sleeves. Her purple and orange bridal bouquet with a lush collar of seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller set the colors for the rest of the wedding décor.

Surrounded by family, Brittney and Dwayne exchanged their wedding vows in from on a large gold moon-gate wedding structure adorned with floral and greenery swags.

Following the intimate wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed the cocktail hour on the East Terrace. Meanwhile, the newlyweds took time for some sunset photos on Independence Mall.

Dancing the Night Away

Following their time together, the couple made their grand entrance into the ballroom. Their newlywed’s entry was followed by their first dance to ‘U Move, I Move’ by John Legend.

Guest tables were draped in white linen. The tabletop design beaded glass charge plates, modern clear glass table numbers, floating candles, and square glass vases filled with brightly colored flowers.
