Another one of our favorite Philadelphia venues for multicultural weddings is the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. This spectacular historic hotel is in the heart of downtown Philadelphia.

The exquisite Liberty Ballroom boasts bold chandeliers and drapery that is sure to wow your guests. The space can hold up to 650 guests, so it’s perfect for even the largest of wedding celebrations.

Complete with a lovely patio, this venue has it all!

Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing

Located along the Delaware River, the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing offers stunning waterfront views and convenience for all of your guests. With the Liberty Bell, Reading Terminal, and the Museum of the American Revolution at your fingertips, the location couldn’t be better.

Inside, the Grand Ballroom has 7,500 square feet of space for the wedding ceremony and reception of your dreams. Our wedding clients love that the ballroom features a panoramic view of the Delaware River.

Loews Philadelphia Hotel

The Loews Philadelphia Hotel is located within the Philadelphia Savings Fund Society (PSFS) building, which is one of the United States’ first modern skyscrapers. It makes our list because it’s conveniently located near Philadelphia’s top attractions, and it has historic charm.

With multiple event spaces to choose from, our couples are able to find a space that perfectly fits their needs. For large gatherings of up to 600 guests, the Regency Ballroom is perfect. With marble and granite walls, 30-foot ceilings, and plenty of natural light, it’s a breathtaking wedding venue.

For more intimate weddings of up to 200 guests, the Howe Room on the thirty-third floor is one of the most picturesque Philadelphia wedding venues.

You truly can’t go wrong with the Loews Philadelphia Hotel as your venue!

The Bellevue Hotel

This City Center hotel is part of The Unbound Collection within the World of Hyatt properties and makes a fabulous Philadelphia venue for a multicultural wedding.

The Bellevue Hotel represents Philadelphia’s Gilded Age days and has all the allure you wish for in a Philadelphia wedding venue. In fact, it’s the only downtown Philadelphia hotel on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Grand Ballroom is two stories and can accommodate over 1,400 guests. But, don’t let the large space fool you! It still feels intimate with fewer guests, too. For a smaller celebration of up to 150 guests, the Rose Garden Ballroom is a great option as well.

The Horticulture Center at Fairmont Park

Located within West Fairmount Park, The Horticulture Center was built in 1979. It’s a modern greenhouse with exquisite grounds that are open to the public daily and also available for events and weddings. The expansive greenhouse makes for a one-of-a-kind wedding backdrop.

The Center can accommodate up to 250 guests for a seated dinner, and it can hold 1,200 guests outside with tenting.

The venue’s on-site catering partner, Constellation Culinary, is known for garden-inspired seasonal menus your guests will enjoy.

Bartram’s Garden

Bartram’s Garden is America’s oldest botanical garden and is situated on fifty acres in Southwest Philadelphia. Just minutes from the city, it’s home to horticulture, an ancient riverfront, and an African Diaspora farm.

The idyllic venue can host up to 315 guests and includes both outdoor and indoor ceremony and reception spaces. You can say your vows in the lush meadows and then move under the covered pavilion for a romantic dinner under the string lights.

While you have the option to work with Bartram’s Garden’s catering partner, Jamie Hollander Gourmet, outside catering is permitted too.

The Franklin Institute

By day, The Franklin Institute is a science museum filled to the brim with exhibits and experiences. After hours, it turns into a gorgeous museum wedding venue in the heart of Philadelphia. In fact, the location of The Franklin Institute really can’t be beaten!

Choose among the scenic rooftop deck that overlooks Ben Franklin Parkway, the starlight Fels Planetarium, and the alluring Benjamin Franklin National Memorial Hall for your ceremony and reception. You can’t go wrong with any of the spaces at The Franklin Institute!

Center City District

Center City District is home to Dilworth Park and Sister City Park. Both parks boast a variety of spaces, vast green lawns, and jaw-dropping views of Philadelphia.

Located between City Hall and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Sister Cities Park offers an impressive green space with panoramic views of Philadelphia’s arts and cultural district. At Sister Cities Park, couples typically host wedding ceremonies at the Earth Fountain and a seated dinner and dancing on the Center Lawn. The entire park can accommodate up to 600 guests for a seated dinner.

Adjacent to the historic City Hall, sits the grand Dilworth Park. Couples usually host ceremonies on the Market Street Walkway, with City Hall as the backdrop, and have their guests flanked by the fountains. Receptions are typically held in the open-air Wintergarden. If utilizing the entire park, the space can accommodate 1,500 guests.
